Roots in Renovation
Sunview’s roots go back to a residential renovation business established in the early 1980’s. For several years the sales force and work crews traveled throughout Saskatchewan selling and installing vinyl siding and windows. They built decks and patios, and installed a few solariums. We sold door to door, as our business grew, we hired more sales people and more installation crews. By 1988, we had about 15 sales people and about 35 installers on the road.
In 1989 a Calgary based solarium manufacture – asked if we’d be interested in buying the business. After raising enough capital to buy the Calgary-based manufacture through a community bond issue (a Saskatchewan government-backed program). The equipment was moved to Saskatoon and Sunview Solariums was established.
In 2003 Sunview Solariums moved to its current location in Saskatoon, SK and expanded its product line by purchasing equipment to manufacture its own line of PVC windows, Branded Sunview Windows . We sell across Saskatchewan and have a location in both Regina and Saskatoon!
The Sunview team are always looking at new and innovative products. And we are willing and capable to take on most window and door renovation projects.

* I joined the Sunview group in 2010, taking on the role as General Manager. In this role I am able to work throughout all levels of the company, from helping on the shop floor to negotiating sales contracts. My wife and I have a 16 year old son, who has been active in sports through the years. Having a tendency to want to be involved with our sons activities I have had the opportunity to Head coach or be an assistant coach on all of his baseball teams except for one. Additionally for the last 4 years I have been a member of our base ball zones executive. I have also had the pleasure of helping coach some of his hockey teams. “
